Treatment Approaches
Evidence-Based, Holistic Treatment Approaches
In modern psychiatry, treatment is not just about suppressing symptoms; it is the process of restoring a person’s functioning and joy in life. The treatment approaches I use in my clinical practice consist of evidence-based, individually structured protocols recognised by international guidelines.
We integrate biologically based pharmacotherapy (medication) with psychotherapy methods that restructure mental schemas and behaviour patterns. Within an individual treatment plan, we adopt a biopsychosocial model shaped around the client’s needs. Below you can find detailed information on the core treatment methods used at our practice and their role in recovery.
Biological treatments: a clear, scientific explanation of medication and other biological interventions.
Psychotherapeutic interventions: the place of the therapy schools I use, such as CBT, EMDR, schema therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy, in treatment.
Follow-up and preventive mental health: strategies to prevent relapse after treatment ends.
Online therapy: the same standards of care for clients elsewhere in Turkey or abroad.

Is medication alone enough? In some cases medication alone may be enough, but for most patients a combination of medication and psychotherapy gives the best results.
